One of our key clients (A commerce driven tech company in the entertainment space) are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join one of their key squads. This squad is responsible for content, inventory, search and the ‘front door’ of the website, from homepage through to show page.
The team will be around 7 people and include 1 x EM, 1 x Lead Engineer + 3 x Software Engineers
This role will focus on both React/ Next.js on the frontend + working with a MUI backed component library AND Node/ AWS/ Event Driven Architecture on the backend
You’ll collaborate closely with product, delivery, and other engineers to ship changes that are seen and felt immediately by customers.
What you’ll be working on
- Working on the front door of their websites with React/ Next.js
- Building backend services in Node.js and TypeScript
- Developing serverless systems using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, eventing services)
- Working with event‑driven architectures to support transactional and real‑time flows
- Building and evolving APIs used by multiple internal and external consumers
What they’re looking for – a MID LEVEL ENGINEER (Backend focused)
- Strong grounding in React/ Next.js/ TypeScript
- Node.js
- Experience working with AWS/ Serverless/ Lambda
- SNS, SQS, EventBridge
- Comfortable building and consuming APIs
- Familiarity with event‑driven systems or asynchronous messaging
- DynamoDB
- Microservices
- MUI
