We’re hiring an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to take full ownership of a growing organisation’s M365 environment. You’ll be the sole admin, acting as the final escalation point before Microsoft, while also shaping the long-term roadmap within a global, science‑led organisation supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across drug discovery, development, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Own, administer, and optimise the full M365 estate (sole administrator)
- Provide 3rd line support and troubleshoot complex architectural issues
- Design and maintain security, compliance, and identity controls
- Automate and streamline through PowerShell and Power Platform
- Define and deliver the 2‑, 3‑, and 5‑year M365 strategy and roadmap
Requirements
- Permanent background (not recently a contractor)
- Able to attend site as required (London)
- 10–15 years overall IT experience with ~2+ years as an M365 Admin
- Strong admin experience across the full M365 stack (not partial)
- Deep knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, Defender, Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- Experience with PowerShell automation, MDM/MAM, Application Proxy, compliance controls, and on‑prem interface agents
- Solid security mindset and experience in commercial/industry environments
