The post holder is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence and reliability of the renewable energy assets through expert monitoring, maintenance and engineering solutions.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in solar energy asset management, including a successful track record in dealing with clients and candidates.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV technology and O&M practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of data, provide in-depth analysis.
- Understanding of asset technology performance metrics and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to plan, organise and execute projects effectively.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with contract management and regulatory compliance.
- Strong MS office systems such as Excel.
- Financial awareness.
- Proactive and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, with a commitment to adding value to the team and Company.
- Ability to travel to the Milton Keynes office regularly.
Your Tasks
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Clients & Landowners, providing regular updates on their assets performance. Ensuring the smooth running of operations by addressing any concerns.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the solar assets ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations in a timely manner.
- Prepare and finalise site monthly reports and provide them to the client, adhering to all aspects of the contract.
- Ensure additional services are offered to Clients, along with quoting for corrective maintenance.
- Optimising portfolio availability, supervising critical processes,and ensuring efficient on-site operations and maintenance.
- Ensure all works are organised to maximise the performance and safe operation of the Solar Farm.
- Working with engineers, suppliers and clients to improve service delivery.
- Take ownership of all tickets, ensuring correct prioritisation of work, keeping the client up to date with progress and contractual compliance.
- Report any issues to management.
- Utilising the technical expertise of the Electric Engineers and Operations managers to create a best practice solution to ensure prompt troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Working closely with the Accounts team, providing financial information as required.
- Liaising with technical advisors to manage and assist with the audit requirements of the assets under management.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, third‑party agreements and health & safety standards.
- Onboarding new sites and ensuring the contractually agreed scope of work is incorporated into Processes, Organisation and IT systems.
- Request and review audit documents from operations managers required by clients and contractual obligations.
- To carry out any other duties connected with the role.
