Risk Lawyer

Our client, an International Law Firm is seeking a Risk Lawyer to join their Risk and Compliance team. The role supports senior management in managing regulatory, compliance and professional risks associated with the Firm.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with 5+ years of experience working in an international commercial law environment, with experience in compliance and professional practice regulation.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Address regulatory risk and compliance issues/queries, including conflicts and AML
• Facilitate firm-wide training on risk and compliance issues
• Assist with internal risk assessments and audits
• Address with data protection issues, such as data breaches
• Stay informed on relevant legislative changes and ensure policies/procedures are promptly updated
• Maintain systems, processes, policies and procedures
• Collaborate, advise and review client terms

You'll have strong knowledge of the SRA Code of Conduct, and likewise, some experience in providing compliance procedural training is desirable but non-essential.

This role would be perfect for an adaptive, critical thinker who thrives even under pressure. Someone with excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills would excel in this position.
