Location: Cambridge (projects across the Southeast)

Salary: Up to £90,000

The Role

As a Fit Out Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of high‑end commercial fit‑out schemes from pre‑construction to handover. You’ll manage programmes, budgets, and teams to ensure every project runs smoothly — on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership while developing your own leadership profile in a collaborative, forward‑thinking business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day‑to‑day site delivery of commercial fit‑out projects
  • Manage programmes, subcontractors, design coordination, and resourcing
  • Ensure quality, safety, and technical standards are consistently achieved
  • Identify and resolve issues early to maintain progress and performance
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams
  • Maintain commercial oversight including budgets, variations, and reporting
  • Mentor junior staff and support a positive, solutions‑focused team culture

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit‑out or refurbishment
  • 3+ years’ experience with a main contractor
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction, sequencing, and delivery
  • Confident client‑facing communicator with solid stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially astute with cost control and reporting experience
  • Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Organised, proactive, and adaptable in fast‑paced environments
