Junior Project Manager / Programme and Project Coordinator

9-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Our top retail client are looking for a Junior Project Manager/Programme and Project Coordinator to join them for an initial 9-month contract.

They have an upcoming tender looking at future requirements for their Good Not for Resale products (GNFR). Through an RFP process they are looking to replace the incumbent provider with a new supplier and need a Junior PM to support the transition from the current service provider to the incoming one.

This role requires coordinating project governance, tracking progress, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting a smooth transition. The successful applicant will work closely with the incumbent and new suppliers, ensuring robust processes are maintained throughout handover.

Key Accountabilities

  • Planning and editing tasks, including milestones
  • Risk and issue management
  • Stakeholder management (internal and external)
  • Project success aligned with agreed timelinesKick-off project materials
  • Risk and issues registers, updates, and communications
  • Successful transition within agreed timelines
  • Ensuring all GNFR lines transition smoothly from current to new suppliers
  • Delivery of organisational requirements
  • Resource management – working with two suppliers and coordinating cross‑functional resources
