Production Line Leader

About the Role

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a production line leader for our well established client based in Erith.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and hard working team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay for this position is £13.50 per hour.

Hours of work may vary depending on workload. Standard hours are 06:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday. May be required to work some Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and cooperate with your team to ensure daily production plans are completed
• Monitor and maintain productivity of production lines to maximise efficiency and report to your line manager
• Liaise with team leader to ensure deadlines/targets are being met
• Training and Induction of new line operatives, acting as mentor
• Ensure process control documents and all checks are carried out in a timely manner
• Ensure food safety and H&S are met and maintained within company guidelines
• Any other reasonable duties are required to meet the needs of the business

Skills and Qualifications

• Ideally with a food production background
• Food Safety Training
• Health & Safety Training
• Manual Handling Training
