Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Westminster, London – £46,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Westminster, London. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in Mechanical building maintenance. The company is offering a competitive salary of £46,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

• Hours of work: Monday to Friday – Week 1 06:00 – 14:00 / Week 2 14:00 – 22:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
