Drainage Engineer – Flexible / Part-Time (15–20 Hours per Week) UK-Based | Remote / Hybrid Options

We are working with a number of engineering design consultancies who require additional Drainage Engineering support on a flexible basis.
This is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to provide technical input without committing to a full-time position.
The Opportunity
You will support live residential and mixed-use schemes at planning and technical stage, helping teams manage workload peaks and maintain programme momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
- Residential drainage design (surface & foul)
- Section 278/S38 works experience
- Planning & technical stage packages
- Liaison with local authorities, LLFAs and statutory undertakers
About You
- Proven experience in residential drainage design
- Strong understanding of UK planning and adoption processes
- Comfortable working independently and managing deliverables
- Experience with relevant software (e.g. Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage or similar)
