Quality Inspector – Birmingham, United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspection in a precision engineering environment.
• Carry out in-process and final inspections on components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify conformance.
• Support quality assurance to ensure ISO 9001 standards are met.
• Operate and/or contribute to CMM inspection processes; experience with Mitutoyo CMM machines is advantageous.
• Identify non-conformances and participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions as part of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mechanical inspection within a precision engineering environment.
• Proficient in CMM inspection; ideally with experience using Mitutoyo CMM machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Experience with both in-process and final inspection.
• Background in Motorsport, Aerospace or similar high-precision industries is a bonus.
