EARTHWORKS MANAGER – CIVIL ENGINEERING (Pre Contract stages of works)
Civil Engineering contracting business enjoying a £50m turnover requires an experienced Earthworks Manager to assist in the successful running of their business. This role relies on the expertise and engineering ability within an earthworks environment. Projects range in value from £1m – £15m, typically £2m – £5m across the UK.
This role can be office based and offer hybrid working. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Pre-contract value engineering and modelling of earthworks solutions for a variety of projects
- Setting up GPS
- Working with Board Directors closely
- Overseeing the earthworks team
Essentially my client is looking for a very experienced civil engineer that can add their years of experience to reduce costs for clients, add value to the sub-contract package and find ways to make things work better and more cost effectively.
