We are seeking an experienced operations professional in the freight forwarding or UK transport sector to join a leading international logistics provider as UK & European Operations Co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookings for UK & European road transport services
- Coordinate warehouse operations including goods in/out and stock management
- Handle customs clearance processes (import and export)
- Operate a forklift (training provided if needed)
- Provide quotations and manage customer communications
- Liaise with transport suppliers for bookings and rate negotiations
- Collaborate with the sales team on service proposals
- Process and invoice jobs using Fast Freight software
- Attend team meetings to discuss operations, challenges, and performance metrics
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in European freight forwarding or UK transport operations (essential)
- Prior warehouse experience and a forklift licence (or willingness to train)
- Strong background in customer service and/or rate negotiation
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to problem-solve and manage workloads under pressure
