This is an opportunity to join a Tier 1 ranked real estate team that supports one of the UK’s largest retailers through a dedicated legal service model. Working as part of a specialist team integrated with the client’s in-house legal function, you’ll help manage a large and active real estate portfolio using established processes, legal technology and project management tools.

The team provides consistent, efficient support across a high volume of asset management and property transactions. With a focus on collaboration, process improvement and practical delivery, this model enables the client to meet commercial demands while maintaining quality and control.

ROLE

Act as a seamless extension of a top-tier client’s in-house legal team.
Handle a wide variety of commercial property asset management matters such as underleases, lease renewals, regears, licences, surrenders, disposals, pre-acquisition reports and legal due diligence.
Advise on property queries and collaborate with specialists across legal functions.
Use innovative delivery models supported by legal tech and project management teams
Ensure consistency in legal delivery by sharing best practice across client and firmwide matters.
Build relationships with the client’s internal teams, delivering clear, timely and commercially focused advice.
Work closely with partners and a high-performing, collaborative team to support strategic property operations.

REQUIREMENTS

England & Wales qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in Real Estate, particularly commercial property and asset management.
Experience advising on real estate matters for major corporate clients, retail sector experience highly desirable.
Skilled in drafting, reviewing and managing commercial property documents with precision and clarity.
Strong task and diary management skills; able to juggle multiple instructions efficiently and to a high standard.
Curious, commercial and client-centric, with a drive to deliver meaningful, practical legal solutions.
Passionate about continuous improvement and open to developing skills in tech-enabled legal delivery.
