Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including supplier, distribution and service agreements
• Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to key stakeholders across the organisation
• Supporting on ad hoc commercial matters and risk management issues
• Assisting with compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to the retail sector
• Collaborating closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives

Profile

The Legal Counsel should be:

• A Legal Counsel or Advisor with experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing range of commercial contracts.
• Confident advising stakeholders in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
• Able to balance legal risk with practical business solutions
• Ideally experienced in retail, FMCG or consumer-facing sectors (desirable, not essential)

Job Offer

Salary depending on experience, starting at £60,000 plus benefits and hybrid working from office in Cheshire area.
