They are looking for a Lead Engineer (tech focused – no management) to support a number of squads and really champion quality engineering.
In this role you will:
- Drive architectural direction, long‑term system strategy, and engineering excellence across multiple squads.
- Own high‑impact technical delivery – Lead full‑stack, cloud‑native engineering work that scales flawlessly across global sporting events, datasets, and user bases.
- Mentor engineers, guide design decisions, set engineering standards, and foster a culture built on curiosity, experimentation, craftsmanship, and autonomy.
- Work closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and other engineering teams across roughly 5 cross‑functional squads.

- Build cutting edge technology…. Such as (AI & machine‑learning features, Computer‑vision powered system, Smart hardware integrations, Performance analytics platforms, Real‑time data & video pipelines, New athlete‑facing tools, Entirely new product surfaces. Its all greenfield and always exciting.

Needed:
- TypeScript/ React
If you’re a great engineer with strong fundamentals, you’ll be considered! Tech Stack is not a gatekeeper.
- Ability to lead delivery across several squads (from a technical perspective)
- Experience mentoring engineers
- AI/ML or computer vision exposure
- GraphQL, streaming systems, or distributed systems experience
- Background in performance, video, analytics, or sports tech (not required)

Compensation
- 7.5% bonus
