SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
AliveDx is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our Clinical Program Management Office & Life Cycle Management Team based at our ARC site near Penicuik, EH26 0BF. The role is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday.
The Senior Project Manager has responsibility for the planning, implementation, monitoring and control of specific assigned projects within Clinical, working with the project team to ensure that all project outputs are delivered in compliance with design control and project management procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibilities will include:
- Manage the planning and execution of new product development, product life cycle management or other strategic programs.
- Organise and chair program level meetings to ensure alignment across streams.
- Effectively manage external partners & consultants where necessary.
- Work with the Executive Management and Governance teams to deliver the assigned program & portfolio objectives according to the agreed strategy.
- Ensure effective communication of goals and timelines with key stakeholders & steering committee.
- Monitor project & program progress and provide formal reports to senior management as required.
- Assess, manage and monitor program & portfolio challenges, risks and issues and engage senior leadership on resolution.
- Enable rapid and effective escalation of risks and issues at project level are brought forward and facilitate decision making and resolution.
- Liaise and communicate with all key stakeholders internal & external on program and portfolio activities.
- Support the evolution and the constant search for excellence in PMO methodologies and competencies in line with operational & strategic objectives.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested from the Company from time to time.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and appropriate quality system requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific subject or equivalent.
- Professional qualification in project management (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent).
- Extensive PM experience, with experience of managing complex technical projects.
- Experience leading/managing cross functional project teams.
- Good knowledge of methodologies and techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience of appropriate IT packages such as MS Project and MS Office applications.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work across departments and in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
