As their IT Service Desk Manager, you’ll be joining a close-knit IT team with real visibility and influence, working directly with the Head of IT and senior stakeholders. This is not a “keep the lights on” role — you’ll have the chance to shape IT services, improve how technology supports the business, and leave a clear footprint as the organisation scales.
What You’ll Do as IT Service Manager:
- Own and manage relationships with multiple software and technology suppliers, acting as the primary escalation point for IT service issues.
- Oversee end-to-end service delivery, including helpdesk operations, application support, and new-starter onboarding.
- Drive improvements in IT service management processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality of support.
- Provide guidance around security, compliance, and governance, supporting internal teams and external partners with technology integrations.
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to align IT services with business needs and future growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working in a MSP environment or managing multiple IT suppliers.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and managing complex applications.
- Knowledge of IT service management, security, compliance frameworks, and the ability to drive process improvements.
