The Company
Nanook was incorporated in 2008, initially acting as a sub advisor to a US commodity fund. The initial core team was comprised of experienced energy professionals who had previously held senior positions at various utilities, energy merchants and investment banks. In 2014, Nanook launched its first fund, investing in energy products based on fundamental modelling of demand and supply. The team has grown organically over the past 15 years, with a team of 60 people and combined assets under management of circa $2bn. Quantitative and technical excellence combined with a thorough and diligent approach to analysis are all attributes that are critical to success at Nanook.
