Residential Property Litigation Solicitor – Birmingham / Hybrid Working
This is a new exciting opportunity for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a niche property firm in Birmingham City Centre.
Responsibilities
- Debt Recovery – small claims/fast track/multi-track
- Breach of Lease – County Court action / FTT action
- Forfeiture & Possession Proceedings
- Lease Extensions
- Lease Variations
- FTT application
- Lease Analysis
- Enforcement of Judgements
- Appointment of Manager Applications
- Providing advice to clients on:
- Major works consultation
- S20b notices
- Lease variations
- Lease structure
- Notices of repairs
- Supporting the Pre-Litigation team with queries
- Staff training and mentoring trainees within the team
About you
- Minimum of 3 years’ PQE
- Working knowledge of leases and enforcement of judgements, Landlord & Tenant Act 1985/1987, Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002
- Pro-active, self-motivated, organised and able to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Ideally you will have knowledge of The RTM Process and structure, The Companies Act 2006 and key case law surrounding leasehold legislation.
