We are delighted to be offering two placement opportunities from July 2026 to June/July 2027 working with both our Omnia and Marketing teams.
Location: Wisbech and Wittering offices – the placement will be based in or around these locations.
During this paid placement you will learn and immerse yourself in precision farming, working as a key part of our TerraMap/Omnia team while supporting our marketing team in delivering our comprehensive marketing and events programme.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and attending events across the country (accommodation and vehicle provided):
- Pre‑event preparation and logistics
- Organising, transporting and setting up show equipment
- Providing on‑site event support, including set‑up, break down and an active role on stand, interacting with customers and colleagues
- General marketing administration and support: campaigns, social media and digital marketing, internal events and CRM
- TerraMap field operations – scanning and soil sampling
- TerraMap operations support
- Administrative support to Omnia and the wider Services team
About you
- Studying an undergraduate degree that makes you eligible for a placement starting summer 2026.
- Enjoy working outdoors and comfortable working alone for TerraMap work.
- Confident driver with a full, clean drivers licence.
- Willingness to support in other areas of the business as required.
- Keen interest in agriculture, in particular arable farming.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Throughout the placement you also have the opportunity to spend time with other areas of the business – soils, environmental, agronomy, distribution and commercial – to enhance your experience and gain a well‑rounded view of Hutchinsons’ business.
