Job Overview
Century Education Group seeks a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Chinese and Southeast Asian education consultancy markets. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong industry networks, in-depth market knowledge, and a proven track record of developing partnerships within the international education ecosystem.
You will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving student recruitment pipelines through education agents, schools, and institutional partners across China and/or Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies for China and Southeast Asia.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard education consultancy partners and student recruitment agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including education agents, schools, pathway providers, and institutional partners.
- Represent the company at education fairs, networking events, and industry conferences (virtual and in-person).
- Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial terms.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, preferably within the education consultancy, student recruitment, or international education sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Chinese and/or Southeast Asian education consultancy market.
- Established network of education agents and institutional partners in China and/or Southeast Asia is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in partnership development and revenue generation.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (for China market) and/or Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
