We’re partnering with a remote-first, early-stage ClimateTech startup building an advanced analytics and observability platform designed to make the digital supply chain cleaner, faster, and more cost-efficient.
They’re looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to take ownership of technical delivery and help scale both the platform and the team.
This is a true player-coach role; ideal for someone who loves shaping strategy but is equally happy rolling up their sleeves.
The role:
You’ll work closely with the CTO to translate product vision into robust, scalable B2B SaaS, while embedding best-in-class engineering practices.
Key focus areas:
- Own end-to-end engineering delivery
- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing remote team
- Drive CI/CD, testing and observability standards
- Make pragmatic architecture decisions for scale
- Ensure platform reliability and performance
- Support hiring as the team grows
About you
We’re open-minded on background, but you’ll likely bring:
- 7+ years in software engineering
- 2 years experience in a technical leadership role
- Strong full-stack capability
- Expertise in at least one backend language; Python, Go, Node.js
- Cloud-native experience; AWS, GCP or Azure
- Product-centric mindset
- Comfortable in fast-moving startup environments
- People-first leadership style
- Experience with remote/distributed teams
Nice to have:
B2B SaaS, media/streaming, or CleanTech exposure.
