Hawksworth are working with a huge Investment Management firm who are looking for a Senior Solution Architect for their rapidly growing London Office (central London).
- Lead Solution Architect
- London 1-2 days a week in the office (central London)
- Permanent
- £150 – £170k base + 10% pension and package
- We need a Senior Solution Architect that has tenure in his/ her assignment with significant Investment Management experience, Investment Platforms experience, Front – Back office and trading understanding.

The Position
The position sits in the Investment Technology Services / Platforms. This is a Technical Leadership role where you will have responsibility for developing solution architecture and high-level designs for investment-focused technology solutions. You will work closely with the dedicated teams to develop, test and released those solutions globally while making sure they align to the Funds technology standards.
Required skills and experience
- 7+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Systems engineering
- Exposure to at least one portfolio management systems (e.g. Blackrock Aladdin, S&P iLevel, Nasdaq Calypso), execution management systems (e.g. Bloomberg EMS, FXALL, TradeWeb) and Investment data management solutions (Finbourne, GoldenSource, Eagle)
- TOGAF certification or equivalent IT architectural qualification (Preferred)
- 10+ years working history in technology design or engineering xwzovoh
- 7+ years’ experience in solution architecture and design
- Advanced practical knowledge of application & infrastructure best practices and standards
- Financial Services experience / Regulatory environments
- Good understanding of Investment data, modern data warehousing concepts and big data platforms
- Good understanding of cloud computing concepts (including Azure)
