Location: Worcester

Salary: £40,000- £45,000 per annum negotiable on experience

Employment Type: Full time Monday to Friday

Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in the company design bespoke automated control systems, PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA control system solutions.

Duties

• Produce detailed designs, ensuring compliance with standards, and manage projects from concept to delivery.
• Generate circuit diagrams and mechanical layouts using CAD software.
• Provide technical support via telephone.
• Qualify customer technical requirements.
• Create technical reports and documentation as required for customers and development projects.

Qualification & Skills Requirements

• Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar qualification.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as an electrical design engineer.
• Good understanding of design for manufacture, cost, and standardisation.
• Proficient in the use of an electrical CAD package; AutoCAD Electrical desirable.
• Driving licence is an advantage as it may sometimes be required to visit client sites.
