We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service radio-linked fire alarm systems on construction sites.
Full product training will be provided. Previous experience with fire alarm systems or radio-linked security systems would be advantageous, particularly if you have strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
This is a field-based role involving extensive travel and regular driving. Flexibility for early starts and overtime is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and servicing of wireless fire alarm systems on active construction sites
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on-site
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with site regulationsAccurate completion of job documentation
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Motivated, reliable, and committed to high standards
- Comfortable with nationwide travel and regular driving
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Experienced working on construction sites
- A CSCS card holder (or willing to obtain one)
- In possession of a full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential):
- Electrical qualifications
- Experience installing or maintaining fire alarm systems
