Front End Developer- Sunderland (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer with knowledge of Umbraco CMS (v12+) to join a growing digital team within a leading UK-based organisation. You’ll develop secure, scalable web applications, support architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web solutions using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Razor, and modern front-end technologies
• Contribute to architecture, code quality, and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and support junior team members
• Manage development tickets and ensure performance, accessibility, and security standards
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments

Skills needed

• 2+ years’ front-end development experience
• Experience with Umbraco CMS or similar platform
• Understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD, source control
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) desirable
