Requirement for an Electrical Project Engineer
Role Summary
- Working in a team responsible for the design, procurement, and delivery of M&E projects.
- Working in the water industry responsible for project coordination and delivery, on projects ranging in value and complexity.
- Ensure projects follow agreed budgets, scope and program.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety and HR procedures.
- Office based with occasional site visits and design meetings.
Experience
- Experience in a design and build project delivery role (preferable water industry).
- NEC 3 knowledge and experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Project.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Construction Operative with a M&E background may also be considered for the role (preferably in Water Industry).
Qualifications
- CSCS Card (required).
- 18th Edition of BS7671 (preferred).
- CITB SMSTS or CITB SSSTS (preferred).

- Analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to diagnose problems and identify and recommend solutions.
- Handling and processing information and data.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to travel, plan, manage and prioritise own workload.
Salary Range
£50,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience).
Working Hours
40 per week.
Office based with occasional site visits.
Office located in Ilkeston, Derby.
