Private Equity Associate | London

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client’s Private Equity platform in London.

This is a generalist role offering immediate exposure to live transactions, portfolio value‑creation initiatives, and cross‑border investment activity.

You will work as part of a lean, high‑performing team with senior investor visibility from day one, gaining hands‑on experience across the full investment lifecycle while developing a strong commercial and analytical toolkit.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of new investments, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, market assessment, and due diligence coordination.
• Assist in preparing investment committee materials, detailed business cases, and strategic recommendations.
• Work closely with portfolio companies on operational and strategic value‑creation projects, helping management teams drive performance improvements.
• Conduct in‑depth sector and competitive research across multiple industries, identifying trends, risks, and potential opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior team members on deal negotiations, transaction structuring, and third‑party adviser management.
• Maintain robust internal processes by tracking pipeline activity, documenting deal findings, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of Investment Banking experience.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, or Greek (essential for cross‑border work and portfolio coverage).
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and genuine interest in private equity investing.
