Senior Business Analyst

An experienced Senior Business Analyst is sought to play a key role in supporting continued growth and product innovation within a high-performing technology environment. This individual will act as a senior contributor and leader within an Agile Scrum development team, collaborating closely with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-value enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with commercial awareness, balancing technical complexity against business requirements to ensure meaningful customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead discovery workshops, storyboarding, prototyping, and business analysis activities within an Agile technology team. Partner with senior stakeholders to promote and embed Agile best practices. Elicit, document, and manage requirements including user stories, interface specifications, data mapping documentation, UI specifications, and reporting requirements. Define and gather project analysis metrics to support delivery tracking and continuous improvement. Review QA test strategies and test plans to ensure alignment with business requirements. Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams on solution validation and assessment. Accurately represent and prioritise the needs of both internal and external customers. Support project delivery across multiple locations, with UK and occasional international travel as required. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline. Minimum of 3 years experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on enterprise software applications, ideally within a SaaS development environment. Strong understanding and practical experience of Agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to negotiate consensus across departments with competing or conflicting requirements. Experience producing structured documentation including user stories and technical specifications. Working knowledge of SQL and database management principles. Proven analytical capability with a proactive, self-starting approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Familiarity with HTML, XML, SOAP APIs, and UX design principles. Desirable Experience Experience working with connected devices or IoT solutions. Knowledge of relational databases, XML, or programming languages. Experience using collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
