Location: Taunton

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (with hybrid working)

Salary: £85,000 to £120,000 (DOE)

A leading regional firm is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Partner or Senior Associate (8+ years PQE) to join its expanding Taunton office. This is a superb opportunity to take a senior role in a growing team within an employee‑owned, values‑led firm.

The Role

You’ll manage and develop a varied and high‑value caseload, including:

• M&A, restructures, and corporate governance
• Commercial contracts and advisory work
• Shareholder agreements and joint ventures
• Supporting business clients across diverse sectors
• Leading business development and client engagement
• Mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team growth
• Contributing to strategic office development

Candidate Requirements

• 8+ years PQE in Corporate or Commercial law
• Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Proven track record of high‑value transactional work
• Leadership experience and ability to develop others
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach
• Strong presence in the local or national market
