Are you a full stack engineer that would like to work across systems that support real trading activity, within a global investment business where technology plays a central role?
Based in Glasgow, you’ll contribute to software used daily by investment teams, working across backend services and user-facing applications. Engineers are expected to understand workflows end to end and help shape the solutions they build.
The role
You’ll be involved in:
- Developing frontend interfaces used by investment professionals
- Building backend services and APIs that support trading workflows
- Contributing to new platforms and ongoing system evolution
- Working closely with users to refine functionality and usability
The stack includes Java on the backend, React / AGgrid and TypeScript on the frontend, with modern cloud-based infrastructure.
What they’re looking for
This ideally suits someone comfortable working across the stack but with a preference for more UI focused work. You’ll enjoy responsibility and want your work to have clear commercial impact. An interest in how markets operate is helpful, but domain expertise is not a prerequisite.
