About Us

DLG is evolving. Across every part of our business, teams are embracing new opportunities and putting customers at the heart of everything they do. Whether you’re already part of DLG or thinking about joining us, you’ll have the chance not only to be recognised for your skills, but also to build on them and be empowered to do your very best.

At Direct Line, we know our customers expect simple, brilliant experiences — and to deliver on that promise, we need the right systems in place.

We’re looking for a Digital Product Owner Account who will own the My Account roadmap across DL brands, working closely with engineering, operations and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital capabilities. The role is also responsible for managing Cassy, the platform used by our operations teams to manage digital accounts.

This is a high-visibility role with significant scope to influence digital servicing strategy, customer experience and operational efficiency across regulated insurance products.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the end‑to‑end My Account product roadmap across Churchill, Direct Line and Privilege web account environments
  • Define and prioritise a clear, outcome‑led backlog aligned to strategic business goals, regulatory requirements and customer needs
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable and compliant digital servicing journeys
  • Own the Cassy platform and roadmap to ensure operational processes and dependencies are met
  • Collaborate with core platform teams to manage dependencies, integrations and system constraints
  • Drive continuous improvement of authenticated journeys including policy management, documents, payments and amendments
  • Ensure all features meet compliance, regulatory and customer standards within an insurance‑regulated environment
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning and milestone tracking to ensure roadmap execution
  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks and incidents alongside dependencies and technical trade‑offs
  • Use data, insight and customer feedback to shape prioritisation and demonstrate measurable impact

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing digital account or authenticated web journeys
  • Strong track record of managing product migrations and integrations, working closely with data engineering and API teams to meet technical delivery milestones.
  • Skilled in agile product management, with expertise in sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and roadmap execution against time‑bound goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, communicate progress, and resolve risks across cross‑functional teams.
  • Good technical understanding of digital architecture, APIs and system integrations
  • Experience working with or alongside Guidewire (preferred)
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and shifting priorities, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and delivery assurance
  • Ability to balance customer experience, commercial priorities and regulatory risk
  • Confident communicator who can operate effectively in cross‑functional and multi‑brand environments
