A division of a successful international manufacturing company are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join their team. The company works to world class standards and are renowned leaders of their field. The role
- Interact with the customer throughout the life of the project
- Manage the progression through the R&D phase, including design iterations, experimentation and sample production
- Conduct research to identify solutions
- Guide the product design process, with assistance from colleagues
- Specify technical product testing and validate production methods
- Liaise with suppliers regarding material sourcing
- Create test plans and oversee test process
- Work closely with Production
The ideal candidate
To be considered you will be likely have a strong degree in an Engineering discipline, almost certainly Mechanical Engineering, to have a good understanding of how materials behave.
Personal traits will include a very high attention to detail, self confidence and motivation and an ambitious, inquisitive nature. The team is fantastic and will expect you to be a genuine team player with humility and a down to earth nature.
