Junior Electrical Design Engineer

A world–class ISO9001, market leader in the manufacture of automatic combustion equipment, is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands–on experience within a highly respected engineering environment, supporting innovative solutions for a wide range of customers.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical (preferred but not essential)
- Keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
What will your role look like?
- Evaluating customer requirements and developing practical design solutions
- Producing electrical schematics and panel layout drawings
- Generating detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Specifying and ordering electrical components and materials
- Liaising closely with the manufacturing department to ensure smooth project delivery
- Assisting with fault–finding and technical problem–solving
- Working in line with technical specifications and project requirements
