The Opportunity
This is a founding engineering leadership role for the London office.
You will build and lead a team responsible for designing and deploying AI agents used by enterprise customers across multiple industries. The role combines people leadership, technical depth, and direct customer collaboration.
You’ll work closely with product and research to evolve the underlying agent platform while ensuring production systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
What You’ll Do
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team in London.
- Design and ship AI agents capable of handling complex, real-world customer interactions.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research to shape platform evolution.
- Drive technical quality across architecture, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to broader engineering strategy as the company scales internationally.
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of engineering management experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with asynchronous systems and debugging complex production issues.
- Strong technical judgement combined with people leadership capability.
Nice to have:
- Experience with multimodal or large language models.
- Background building production AI systems at scale.
