On behalf of our client, we are seeking a driven and results‑oriented Business Development / Sales Professional to join their team in London.

This is a hybrid role focused on new sales within the banking, finance, and payments sector, selling IT solutions and services.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive “hunter” profile who thrives on generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new clients within the banking and financial services domain.

This is a mid-level opportunity suited for someone with strong sales drive and experience in IT‑related solutions targeting financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net new business acquisition within banking, finance, and payments

  • Identify and approach new prospects in the financial services sector

  • Build and manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Develop and execute account penetration strategies

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations

  • Collaborate internally to ensure smooth solution delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in business development or sales within IT solutions

  • Exposure to or experience working with banking, finance, or payments clients

  • Strong hunter mindset with proven success in new business generation

  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and commercially focused
