The home supports children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), delivering structured, trauma-informed care in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

  • Manage budgets and occupancy levels
  • Oversee safer recruitment and staff performance management

  • Liaise with Local Authorities, parents/carers and external professionals
  • Ensure robust Regulation 44 & 45 processes are embedded and effective

Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully

Recent EBD residential experience as a Registered Manager is essential – candidates without this will not be considered.

You must also:

  • Have strong working knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Demonstrate experience managing safeguarding investigations and Ofsted inspections

  • £63,000 – £73,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • Performance-related bonuses
  • Established, stable team
  • Supportive senior leadership
  • Strong therapeutic model already embedded
  • Opportunity to maintain and enhance an Outstanding provision

Who This Role Suits

This role is ideal for:

  • An experienced Registered Manager seeking a well-run home with strong foundations
  • A high-performing Deputy ready to step up (with Level 5 completed)
  • A quality-driven leader who thrives on maintaining excellence rather than firefighting
