Responsibilities
- Embedding continuous automated testing into CI/CD pipelines from the start.
- Designing and implementing test frameworks across UI and API.
- Carrying out both manual and automated testing, supported by exploratory testing where needed.
- Using open-source tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, Robot Framework and Rest Assured.
- Applying agile and DevOps practices including TDD, BDD and continuous testing.
- Supporting non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility and OAT).
- Driving improvements across QA processes and sharing new ideas within the wider testing community.
Qualifications
- Main Skills Needed:
- Strong background in manual and automation testing across complex solutions.
- Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of open-source testing tools and frameworks.
- Comfortable working in agile delivery teams and contributing to best practice.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
- Eligible for high-level security clearance (UK passport holder, resident in the UK for the last 5 years).
