Job Description:
A brand new and recently created role has arisen at one of our prestigious US law firm clients for a Commercial Finance Manager to work alongside the team within legal strategic pricing, project management and commercial finance. The London office is currently experiencing exponential growth and are keen to hire a dynamic individual who is client-service oriented to really lead manage the commercial finance function.
- Salary to £110,000
- 09:30-17:30 working hours
- Hybrid working – 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
- £100 monthly employee contribution towards lunch or other expenses
- Liverpool St / City Offices
Commercial Finance ManagerKey Responsibilities:
- Devise, negotiate and implement custom fee arrangements to ensure client’s business objectives are satisfied while meeting firm strategic and financial requirements
- Advise Partners on value-based pricing strategy specific to key practice areas and industries
- Monitor matter performance against budgets and pricing assumptions; identify variances, conclude risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Incorporate legal technology, data analytics and emerging AI-enabled tools
- Provide research, data analysis, and project support for strategic initiatives and department-wide projects.
Commercial Finance ManagerSkills & Requirements:
- 5 years+ professional experience required, law firm background is highly advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferable
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & legal and financial systems
