The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a busy, well-established consultancy based in their growing Exeter office. The successful candidate will support project delivery and civil design, with responsibility for technical input, feasibility studies and managing projects. The role includes maintaining strong connections with the wider UK office network.
Responsibilities
- Undertake technical and feasibility studies for civil engineering projects
- Deliver civil design work including drainage and highways
- Prepare and manage Section 38, 104, 106 and 278 agreements
- Produce and manage fee proposals
- Lead and manage project teams, including forecasting and time management
- Liaise with colleagues across offices to ensure coordinated project delivery
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience as a project team leader
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of drainage design
- Experience in managing own projects and delivering to time and budget
- Familiarity with adoption procedures and relevant agreements
