Investment Analyst II / III
Location: London
A leading global investment bank is seeking to hire an Investment Analyst (2–3 years’ experience) into its Infrastructure & Renewables M&A team in London. The team advises sponsors, corporates, and strategic investors across the energy transition and core infrastructure landscape, with a strong focus on mid- to large-cap transactions across Europe.
Role Overview
The Analyst will play a core execution role on live M&A and financing mandates, working closely with Associates, VPs, and senior bankers. Responsibilities will span transaction execution, financial analysis, and client-facing deliverables across a broad range of infrastructure and renewables subsectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial modelling (3-statement, DCF, LBO, project-level cash flow models) and valuation analysis
- Preparation of client materials including pitch decks, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Transaction execution support across buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory mandates
- Market, sector, and company-specific analysis within infrastructure and renewables
- Coordination with internal product teams and external advisers
Candidate Profile
- 2–3 years of investment banking experience, ideally within Infrastructure, Renewables, Power & Utilities, or broader M&A
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skill set
- Exposure to infrastructure or energy transition transactions preferred
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to operate in a fast-paced deal environment
- Strong academic background and excellent written and verbal communication skills
