Lead Security Engineer

Role: Lead Security Engineer (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Location: 100% remote (must be UK based)

Are you looking to work on securing a cloud-native payments platform that is built for speed, scale and resilience whilst working on one of the most exciting tech stacks globally?

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining defensive security controls across multi-cloud payment environments.
• Continuously strengthening infrastructure and application security through monitoring, hardening, and automation.
• Identifying and mitigating emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack paths.
• Partnering with engineers to embed security-by-design and recommend practical protections.
• Managing and optimizing security controls for performance, readiness, and effectiveness.
• Maintaining security baselines, playbooks, and detections for consistent defense.

What you’ll need

• Excellent multi-cloud security engineering & architecture experience. Understanding a technical breadth and depth of controls, patterns and architectures across cloud environments
• A deep engineering proficiency across software engineering and system design
• A ‘full-stack’ security perspective across different architecture environments
• Strong Linux understanding and experience
• Solid background in security engineering, design, and architecture for complex systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• You have built, implemented and maintained security controls in a FinTech environment
• You have strong experience with Kubernetes
