Location: Ideally based in the Trafford area
Pay: £14.13/hr (approx. 33,000 per annum)
Hours: 8am–6pm (1 hour lunch), 45 hours per week
Requirement: Own transport required
About the role
Kinetic Recruitment is looking to recruit a Building Manager to manage a commercial property or properties in the Greater Manchester area. This is a permanent role.
You will be employed by a large and renowned building / property development company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the reception area of the building & welcome visitors and staff.
- Liaise daily with tenants of the building.
- Book meeting rooms.
- Check cleaning standards and ensure they are adhered to.
- Maintain building check sheets, including daily checks of all toilets and showers.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Manager on small maintenance works, paint touch‑ups, etc.
- Check the presentation of the building exterior.
- Maintain high levels of customer service for tenants daily.
- Operate the building’s amenity area, including coffee machines, vending machines and communal exercise area, ensuring they are operational throughout the day.
- Close down the building and associated amenity area at the end of the day, preparing the building for trade the next day.
- Liaise with senior management on site.
Location and Travel
Buildings are located within the Bolton, Warrington and Stockport triangle – an ideal candidate would be based in or around Trafford, Eccles, Irlam, Stretford, Sale, etc. Travel between two sites may be required.
