Job Advert 36 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year, Permanent Recycling & Waste Services wish to recruit an individual to work as part of the Disposal team to safely repair and maintain West Lothian’s Recycling Centres: https://www.westlothian.gov.uk/local-recycling-centres and Recycling Points: https://www.westlothian.gov.uk/article/4903/Glass-Recycling Work pattern: Fixed: 4 days per week. Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Working hours : 07:30-17:00, 30-minute unpaid lunch. Tasks will include: A category B driving licence is required together with a full current and valid CPC and driver card (tachograph card). This role involves carrying out general repair & maintenance activities at the Recycling Centres & Points located throughout West Lothian. Experience of general labouring, with the skills to carry out a wide range of interior and exterior repairs would be an advantage. Tasks may include: the inspection, cleaning and maintenance of containers such as skips, compactors, wheeled bins and bin housing repairing and fixing signage or fencing painting and line marking cleaning and preparing a job site loading and delivering materials delivering fuel and fuelling equipment at Recycling Centres using a variety of tools such as power drills, grinders, saws and water spraying equipment operating equipment such as a lawnmower, strimmer, leaf blower, pressure washer, telescopic handler, tail-lift and forklift The Waste Operative D Job Outline provides details of the generic duties and responsibilities.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
