Geotechnical Engineer

Reporting to the Geotechnical Engineering Manager, you’ll be based at our Operations Centre and Soils Laboratory in Beccles, with a role that combines onshore engineering, offshore site work, and input into the development of our engineering function.

The Role:

• Deliver offshore site investigations in line with project and contract requirements
• Process, interpret and QA/QC in-situ test data
• Log and classify soil and rock samples to industry standards
• Carry out offshore laboratory testing (e.g. Quick Undrained Triaxial, Lab Vane, Thermal Conductivity)
• Support production of geotechnical logs, factual reports and onshore lab testing schedules
• Manage the data journey from vessel to office
• Contribute to onshore reporting and project delivery tasks
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment, systems and field practices
• Maintain the highest standards of HSE compliance
• Share lessons learned and support the ongoing growth of the business

About You:

• 5+ years’ experience in offshore geotechnical engineering
• Strong attention to detail and data quality
• Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical or related discipline
