Reporting to the Geotechnical Engineering Manager, you’ll be based at our Operations Centre and Soils Laboratory in Beccles, with a role that combines onshore engineering, offshore site work, and input into the development of our engineering function.
The Role:
- Deliver offshore site investigations in line with project and contract requirements
- Process, interpret and QA/QC in-situ test data
- Log and classify soil and rock samples to industry standards
- Carry out offshore laboratory testing (e.g. Quick Undrained Triaxial, Lab Vane, Thermal Conductivity)
- Support production of geotechnical logs, factual reports and onshore lab testing schedules
- Manage the data journey from vessel to office
- Contribute to onshore reporting and project delivery tasks
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment, systems and field practices
- Maintain the highest standards of HSE compliance
- Share lessons learned and support the ongoing growth of the business
About You:
- 5+ years’ experience in offshore geotechnical engineering
- Strong attention to detail and data quality
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical or related discipline
