Cloud Architect (Azure)

We’re partnered with an insurance business to support them in recruiting a Cloud Architect to shape and deliver end‑to‑end solutions across on‑premises and Azure environments. The role focuses on defining, developing and governing application architecture, and contributing to wider enterprise domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and integration across on‑prem and Azure platforms.
• Own and evolve the Application Architecture domain, supporting Business, Data, Technology and Security domains.
• Assess new/third‑party technologies, including cost, risk, gap analysis and PoCs.
• Ensure applications are well‑modelled across process, people and technology, identifying unnecessary complexity.

Skills Required

• Experience delivering complex, enterprise‑level solutions (including third‑party integrations).
• Strong technical awareness across application, data and cloud (Azure) architectures.
• Confident engaging and challenging senior stakeholders; resilient and influential.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in the client’s Leeds office.
