Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office, EU travel required)

Salary: Up to £140,000

We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team of a growing pan-European organisation in the insurance and health services sector.
This 12-month maternity cover role will play a key strategic position within the business, helping to drive priorities, manage complex projects, and ensure operational alignment across multiple entities in the UK and Europe.
This is a unique opportunity to operate at Group Executive level, working directly with senior stakeholders and influencing key strategic initiatives within a fast-growing international organisation.
What you will do:
You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, supporting strategic decision‑making and ensuring priorities across the leadership team are aligned with the wider business agenda. You will coordinate and oversee company‑wide initiatives, manage the day‑to‑day operations of the CEO’s office, and help streamline leadership processes and workflows.
The role will also involve preparing board and shareholder materials, facilitating leadership meetings, representing the CEO in key engagements, and leading cross‑functional projects across multiple European markets.
What you’ll bring:
You will have significant experience within the global insurance industry, with a strong understanding of complex international organisations. A consulting background is highly desirable.
You will be a confident communicator with excellent project management and analytical skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving change within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
