Finance Business Partner

We’re hiring a Finance Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will act as a commercial finance business partner, for our Technology and Modern Workplace practices.

This role is hybrid flexible – 1 day per week in London, Waterloo

Responsibilities

• Provide business partner support to the practices and their management teams by acting as a key finance advisor and assist non-finance people with finance matters.
• Provide insight and commentary to performance against forecast/budget.
• Demonstrate understanding and control of all finance drivers in the practices – aged debt, accrued income, working at risk, gross margin %, utilisation, renewals, investments.
• Key presenter and influencer in operational reviews with CEO/CFO and practice leads.
• Understand and maintain monthly forecast and outturn.
• Assist practice with strategy, investment, decision-making.
• Drive annual budget for Tech and MWP practices.
• Work closely with Accounting team to understand all financial postings and results.
• Own balance sheet for key accounts that impact revenue and gross margin in Tech and MWP practices.
• Continuous review of pipeline that impacts Tech and MWP practices.

Skills/Experience

• Preferable to have worked in a Technology company/Services company.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience of building trusted relationships across various departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
