The Project
Due to our continued growth, we require an Associate Director level project manager who will be responsible for the delivery of multiple fast‑paced property investments programmes for major Hotel clients. This role sits in our consultancy business, specifically the commercial private sector, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their experience beyond Hotels in the delivery of fit‑out and relocation projects for major corporate clients.
You will join our team of UK wide Project Managers and be seen as our deputy hotel sector lead. Project management technical expertise and a track record of business development with hotel clients is essential.
As Project Manager, you will have sole responsibility for the delivery several projects, ranging in value from £100k – £20m each. Reporting into the Mace Account/Programme lead. The successful candidate will manage projects within a geographic area, ideally centred to your home location, however some UK wide or European travel should be expected.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Applying technical H&S expertise and promote an inclusive culture.
- Delivering project plans from inception to construction.
- Managing tasks and deliverables supporting senior leaders.
- Overseeing budgets, risks and long‑term functional development.
- Managing design and consultant teams collaboratively.
- Managing teams and stakeholders to achieve KPIs.
- Networking and drive best‑practice adoption across programmes.
You’ll Need To Have
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
- Previous experience working for a consultancy for the built environment desired
- Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the hotel sector.
- A track record of business development in the hotel sector.
- Property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
